Blackout Site to SHUT DOWN SOPA & PIPA

SOPA & PIPA are the most ignorant, idiotic acts I have ever seen...

I mean really, the internet is a the world's best form of income because everyone uses it! Well, almost everyone. (Ahem, SOPA and PIPA supporters.) If you don't know too much about the acts, here is a little information about both, from Wikipedia. (They blacked out their website just because of these horrid acts.)

The Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA), also known as House Bill 3261 or H.R. 3261, is a bill that was introduced in the United States House of Representatives on October 26, 2011, by House Judiciary Committee Chair Representative Lamar S. Smith (R-TX) and a bipartisan group of 12 initial co-sponsors. The bill, if made law, would expand the ability of U.S. law enforcement and copyright holders to fight online trafficking in copyrighted intellectual property and counterfeit goods. Presented to the House Judiciary Committee, it builds on the similar PRO-IP Act of 2008 and the corresponding Senate bill, the PROTECT IP Act.

Basically, this act would totally kill sites like Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, and a whole bunch of other sites. Wikipedia is going on strike now because of these acts. If the goverment were to put SOPA and PIPA into action, all your favorite sharing sites and social media sites would be gone forever. That is... until the acts were gone. I don't know what's going to happen, the world would go crazy if these acts somehow get passed. I really hope nothing bad happens.

I wish I could blackout my site, but it's up to Blogger/Blogspot to do that. I can't add the blackout code to this blog just yet.

If you have a site, please support this strike!

Rusty Farts? It's Rusty HEARTS DUMBASS.

I've been looking for some MMOs to play...

And  I remember hearing about this game called Rusty Hearts on YouTube from a channel called Mega64. Some may have hear of them, some haven't, but they make hilarious video game parodies. One of my favorites certainly was the Rusty Hearts commercial and the Heavy Rain parody. Here, take a look!

These two videos are absolutely hilarious! The great thing about these videos is that they aren't a huge company like Machinima. The quality is great, the actors are funny, and they all have a love for games. :) Just like you and I!

Rusty Hearts is a great game to play once in a while, but it's not too fun without friends. Most of the game consists of doing quests alone because of the lack of players in lower level areas. It is fun though.

Go ahead and try it!

APB Reloaded - To Be Fat or Not to Be Fat!

This game. Oh my god.

I was cracking up so badly at 12 am, I'm surprised that everyone in the house didn't hear me! If I were to describe this game, I would say this:

It's a mix between GTA and Reno 911. You're gonna find retarded cops and even more retarded criminals!
Here is the exact video that my friend sent me a few days ago (when I discovered this game)

The gameplay may be a bit weird, but it's easy to get used to. I love the graphics and everything is HILARIOUS! When you die, you will become a ragdoll until you respawn. Isn't that great? :)

Starting out in this game is not very fun because there is absolutely no level difference in missions. If you're level 1, the opposing team might be level 20. It's impossible because of the extremely unbalance weapons that people use in higher levels. Also, if someone doesn't have premium, the guns will expire.

I love making the character though. There is a simple character creator, and an advanced character creator. The advantages in the advanced creator is that you get to really detail your character to the point where he/she looks like a complete slob, or a gentleman/woman. This is, of course, after selecting whether or not you want to be a criminal or an enforcer. There is not much difference, but the enforcers get to arrest criminals. :(

Overall, this game is extremely fun and FREE! You can get it on Steam by searching for APB: Reloaded.

Try this game and see if you like it!

Final Fantasy XIII-2 Demo is released!

Ok, so here's the deal...

The Final Fantasy XIII-2 Demo has been released today! I didn't know this because I didn't keep updated with the devs and I never play demos! (SADFACE) Anyways, this is great. I really wanted to try this game out even though I already pre-ordered it! Now I get the chance, but I accidentally screwed up my download because I opened a game that required Live to work! :( Now I have to download it later haha... Oh well, I have a lot of time before the whole game is released!

Here's a video that Joystiq.com put up just for all the people, like me, who didn't know or forgot about the demo release date! Enjoy :)

P.S. Now go download the demo from PSN or XBL!

Masashi Hamauzu - Brilliant Mastermind

One thing I absolutely love about the entire Final Fantasy franchise is the amazing music that comes along with the scenes and battle sequences! Currently, I'm still on Final Fantasy XIII... (I put off that game for soooo long!) I really love the OST for this game, created by Masashi Hamauzu, a composer at Square Enix.

I think the true Final Fantasy fans will recognize this amazing track no matter what sort of variation is made. Here, take a listen!

There are also amazing people that cover the some of the pieces! Here is an example of a nice battle track called Blinded by Light covered by darksugar178 on youtube!

I hope you enjoy this, and if you haven't played Final Fantasy XIII, do so now! I think the gameplay isn't all that great, but the storyline is one of the best I've ever seen.

A little bout' Tohfoo

Hi there!

Gaming is my passion. It has been in my life... well, not since I was born, but close. Coming from a family that barely had experience with technology before the late 80s, the first computer that my parents owned was an old HP Pavillion (I forget what model) with AOL. Old right? One of the first games I ever played was The Oregon Trail! That was hours and hours of fun back then. :) To this day, I still want to play a game like that again, but I don't know where to find such a thing! If anyone reading this blog knows where I can find an updated Oregon Trail, please, please, please let me know!

From then on, I played more and more games, leading to simple games such as Solitaire to more advanced games such as Counter-Strike: Source. I still remember those teenage days where Runescape or MapleStory used to be the best thing ever.

What you'll find here.

I made this blog so I could post about my experiences in games that I enjoy, and some that I dislike. There are so many games in modern times, and some need reviews! Of course, there are plenty of other gamers online that make game reviews, but I'll try to make mine as genuine as possible!
